Anua records record-breaking sales on 'Amazon Prime Day'… Stands tall as a leader in K-beauty
The Founders' skincare brand Anua is at the forefront of K-beauty with remarkable performance in the North American market.
Anua was selected as a representative K-beauty brand that drove Amazon's highest sales ever, recording a 537% increase in sales compared to the previous year and a 934% increase compared to the previous week during Amazon Prime Day (the biggest discount event of the year for Amazon's paid members) held on July 16th and 17th.
Anua's representative product, the Eoseongcho Toner, recorded growth of 18 times and Eoseongcho Cleansing Oil of over 10 times compared to the previous week, maintaining the top spot in each category. The 'TXA Dark Spot Serum', which was introduced as a product tailored to North American consumers, also showed explosive growth and settled in 4th place in the serum category.
Anua, a manager at The Founders, said, “We started with the toner category and expanded the pie to the cleansing oil and cleansing foam categories by understanding the needs of consumers through preliminary local research. We also launched customized products for consumers through overseas trend and market analysis, which was effective.”
Building on its growth in the North American market, Anua has achieved a 483% year-over-year sales growth rate in the second quarter, with cumulative sales of Anua products reaching approximately 30 million units to date.
Regarding these achievements, The Founders Anua representative emphasized that “we focused on data-based decision-making and establishing strategies from the customer’s perspective.” He also expressed confidence that “The Founders and Anua will continue to prioritize customer satisfaction and continue to grow the brand not only in Korea and North America but also around the world through strategic actions.”
