Maison de Core x Nongshim Cup Ramen, launched in Europe

Korea's representative ramen brand Nongshim is a K-food startup Maison de Core, born through collaboration with Ruelang Nongshim's 'X' cup ramen has been launched in the European market. The unusual collaboration, which is the first in 50 years since Nongshim was founded, is attracting attention from the domestic and international industries.

Ruelang is a food startup company that has entered the European market, which was a wasteland for K-food, and has achieved tremendous growth through its own distribution channels and thorough localization strategies. Maison de Coree is a French corporate brand of Ruelang, and is establishing its position in France with the brand philosophy of ‘building its own distribution channels while overcoming high language and cultural barriers.’ It also reflected various cultural elements of Korea in its product design, such as the story of goblins exploring food all over Seoul.

'Maison de Core x Nongshim' cup ramen was released in two flavors, bulgogi and buldak, which were reinterpreted to suit the taste of French consumers. The two types of 'Maison de Core x Nongshim' cup ramen, which were designed so that European consumers can naturally come into contact with Korean culture, have entered approximately 600 large French marts, including Monoprix and Carrefour, within six months of starting sales, and have shown a 160% sales growth rate, suggesting a new path to enter the European market.

The two types of 'Maison de Core x Nongshim' cup ramen introduced this time are limited editions that can only be found in France. Following the two types of cup ramen, Ruelang plans to release vegan products as well. This time, the K-food enjoyed by the French is available in Korea as well. You can buy it here .
