'LCK King' Gen.G Extends Partnership with Turtle Beach
Global esports company Gen.G Esports announced on the 23rd that it has extended its partnership with global gaming gear brand Turtle Beach. Following the partnership extension, Gen.G Esports players will continue to use Turtle Beach products this year, wearing uniforms with logo patches to showcase their skills in various domestic and international competitions.
Gen.G and Turtle Beach have been working closely together since 2021, establishing themselves as leaders in the esports and gaming gear industries respectively, and this partnership extension will further solidify their positions in each industry. Turtle Beach plans to strengthen its gaming peripheral lineup and launch a variety of new products by reflecting feedback from Gen.G esports players to realize a next-level gaming environment.

The Gen.G esports team is very popular, maintaining top rankings in various games including League of Legends and Valorant. In particular, the Gen.G LoL team showed an overwhelming performance and won another championship in the LCK Spring Finals that ended on April 14th. The Gen.G LoL team is creating a historic legend centered around franchise star player 'Chovy' Jeong Ji-hoon, who has maintained the first place for four consecutive seasons and achieved the first poppet in the LCK, and 'Giin' Kim Gi-in, who was selected as the MVP of this finals. Many domestic and international fans are focusing their attention on the progress of the Gen.G LoL team.
The Gen.G VALORANT team took second place in the VALORANT Masters Madrid, which ended last March, becoming the first Korean team to do so. In addition, they won all sets in the first week of Stage 1, the first regular league of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific, and took first place in their group.
